Requesting an Appointment & Checking In

Requesting an Appointment: You will be able to schedule an appointment by phone or through our patient portal. To access the Patient Portal please login using the link to the left.

Checking in: When you arrive, please check in at the front window to let us know you are here. At that time, please let us know if you need any help while waiting or if you would like a face mask to reduce the spread of disease.

New Patients: If you are a new patient, you will be asked to complete a form to help us understand your medical issues. You may have received this form in the mail or via our patient portal before your appointment. If you need any help completing this form or have any questions, please ask the front desk staff.

Existing Patient: If you are an existing patient, the front desk staff will ask you to update information. Please let the front desk staff know about any changes in address, contact information, emergency contact, or other pertinent information.

Lab Work: We process all lab work through Lab Corp. If your insurance company requires a different lab, you will need to have your lab work done at Watauga Medical Center. Please let us know at check in.

Selecting a Personal Clinician: Upon scheduling an appointment at our office, we encourage all new patients to select a personal care provider. This means that you will be seen by the same clinician as often as possible. We believe this facilitates a strong patient-physician relationship through trust, open communication, and continuity.
